Salvia apiana (white sage) is an evergreen perennial shrub indigenous to the
Southwestern United States and Northwestern Mexico. Widely used by many North American indigenous ethnicities, its robust and piquant scents are dominant for smudging and ceremony. Since 2013, Incausa has been working with a small community of harvesters, who have the utmost respect for the plants and environment, harvesting only leaves, which ensures its natural regeneration process.
